Holy Trinity Church Cafe
Taking time out in this Grade 1 Listed building in the heart of Skipton, next to the Market Place, Holy Trinity Church Cafe is sure to leave you with a sense of peace and time well spent.
Even though the Cafe is inside the church building it happily welcomes well behaved dogs on a lead.
It is run entirely by volunteers and is OPEN Wednesdays to Fridays 10am-2pm, Saturdays 10am-3pm
There's always a warm welcome, good honest food and an obliging cuppa.
Rosie, June 2023
After the hustle & bustle of the busy market, which can be a daunting experience for a smaller dog like my Sheltie, this was a lovely tranquil place to rest a while and refresh.
Having enquired at the Church entrance as to whether dogs were allowed inside, it was a bonus to be told they were welcome in the cafe as well.
Staffed by volunteers, service at the counter was quick and friendly, with an array of sandwiches and homemade cakes on offer besides hot & cold drinks. All very reasonably priced too!
They were also more than happy to fill my dogs water bowl from the cold tap which was much appreciated.
For fussy dogs like mine who like to relieve themselves on grass rather than anywhere else, the area immediately outside the Church is the only such option within the immediate vicinity and bins were on hand if required.
