Cryps Clips Dog Grooming

Hello, Below is a little about our friendly salon which my self (Jenny) co own with my Mum (kate). We now have another groomer with us Alicia, she has been training with us for a couple of years and is now qualified so even more fuses for your furbaby!. The salon is based on our family run farm Ovington within Norfolk. In 2016 Jenny qualified as a Veterinary Nursing Assistant. She has worked at a local vets where she done more qualifications and CPD. In 2017 Jenny starting my journey to become a dog groomer. She studied both my level 2 and level 3 city and guilds diploma in dog grooming. She is also looking to do my ICMG (International certified Master Groomer) within the next few years. To gain more knowledge we are always doing courses/CPD which we can use within our salon. In August 2019 I opened up my own salon along side my Mum (Kate) which is called Cryps Clips and Alicia joined until end of 2020, where I am proud to say we use cruelty free products, we don’t have any crates within the salon, so your dog can feel more at ease. We also offer one to one grooming if needed. Kate is a City & Guilds qualified level 2 assistant who is always around to help if a dog becomes worried or anxious or just wants a lot of fuss). Alicia is also City & Guilds qualified level 2 and is looking to do her Level 3 in the future. She has been a fantastic asset to the salon so far. We like to specialise in dogs that have had a bad experience or are anxious at the groomers as I feel as though it is important to help make them feel relaxed within the salon. We don’t crate any dogs whilst with us and we don’t work to a time span, so if your dog needs extra time that’s absolutely fine we can cater for that aswel or if they need to be the only dog in the room that’s fine also. We have worked with some dogs in the past who when they first came to us really struggled and disliked the salon/grooming experience and now after patience, hard work they now fall asleep whilst being groomed and that is the reason we do what we do.
