Dogs are welcome year-round on Holkham Beach, but there is an on-lead policy in place annually between 1st April – 30th August in certain areas to protect ground nesting birds. Find out more here
In addition, during nesting season areas of the beach are fenced or roped off to protect nesting birds, this can also include the off-lead area. As such we ask that people and dogs be considerate and give these areas a wide birth to avoid disturbance or predation.”
