Wells
Dogs are banned from a 200-yard stretch of the beach between the beginning of May and the end of September. At nesting time areas of the beach are roped off to protect nesting birds and people are asked to keep dogs on leads for the same reason. Holkham beach has the same seasonal restrictions. Dog owners are asked to keep dogs on leads until they get on to the beach, and to clear up any mess.

Wells is such a vast open beach which all dogs love. It is maintained to the highest standards and is complimented by a lovely beach cafe and stunning pine forest. Just perfect!

Beautiful beach. Can walk for miles. Very popular but never feels crowded. Always clean. Bonus of a lovely dog friendly cafe.

We visit this beach several times a year, we do a lovely walk from here to Holkham beach and back! A lovely huge Sandy beach always clean and rubbish free! It’s totally dog friendly including the cafe’s at each end!
