Established in 2015, our canine hydrotherapy clinic is situated in Wivelsfield on the More House Farm Business Site, in the heart of the Sussex countryside with easy access from the main road south of Haywards Heath. Easy reach from Brighton, Crowborough, Crawley There is free on site parking. Our pool-based clinic offers canine rehabilitation care and opportunities for regular fitness and water confidence programmes for all sizes of paws! Our registered therapists are dedicated to providing the highest quality of compassionate care with exceptional clinical excellence. Under new ownership, since Autumn 2024, the clinic is constantly striving to improve the quality, comfort and variety of services on offer. From Sarah, our Clinical Lead: “Caring for animals has always been at the heart of who I am. My career began in agriculture as a Farm Manager, where I developed a practical, hands-on approach to animal welfare. Although I loved working with animals, I knew I wanted to make an even greater difference. In 2020, I took the opportunity to retrain and follow my passion for helping dogs. Inspired by my grandmother, a physiotherapist and early advocate of hydrotherapy, I completed a degree in Canine Therapy with specialist training in canine hydrotherapy. Today, I have the privilege of leading my own Canine Hydrotherapy Clinic, supporting dogs whether they are recovering from surgery, facing lifelong mobility challenges, requiring support with fitness and weight management or perhaps just gaining some water confidence. I know that trusting someone with your precious pet can feel overwhelming, which is why I treat every dog with the same patience, kindness and compassion I would want for my own. My goal is always to create a calm, safe environment where dogs can build confidence, improve their comfort and mobility, and enjoy their therapy. Hydro Paws helped us so much with getting our puppy comfortable in water. Sarah was absolutely incredible with him when he was nervous about getting in and it gave us so much reassurance knowing that our puppy was going to be comfortable swimming and that is reassurance that we take with us on every dog walk.

The Hydro Paws team were so good in helping keep our dog Paddy keep active and strong for three years after his orthopaedic surgery. He attended regularly and the benefits of hydrotherapy were very clear to us. Hydro Paws Sarah was welcoming (to us as well as the patient!), communicated readily about his progress and listened to him too 🙂 He was never rushed and enjoyed his warm shower afterwards. Sarah is always calm and professional, delivering excellent individualised care and attention to her clients and their owners along with a healthy sense of humour. The whole team work together cohesively to deliver a great service (Floss too!) and we would not hesitate to highly recommend HydroPaws!
