Based in Penkridge, Hatz Off Dog Training is built around a simple truth: real behaviour progress can't happen in a chaotic, one-size-fits-all environment. I specialise in working with puppies and unsocialised dogs, helping them navigate a world that can often feel overwhelming. My approach is entirely welfare-led, focusing on keeping dogs calm, understood, and emotionally secure. ​A core part of how we operate is that dogs undergo training before they ever gain access to our day care or home boarding. Because of this, I know the dogs and their owners exceptionally well—we simply don't take on dogs we haven't personally worked with. This rigorous familiarity is what keeps our spaces safe, predictable, and stress-free. ​That philosophy comes to life in The Academy, our training-integrated day care. Too often, dogs learn great skills in a quiet training environment, only to have them fall apart in the real world. The Academy acts as the bridge. It translates those training sessions into real-life daily interactions, teaching dogs how to properly socialize and respect boundaries in a controlled, supportive setting. ​That same high standard applies to our home boarding. Because boarding is strictly reserved for dogs who already have an established relationship with us through our training and day care, they step into a home away from home where they already feel safe, understood, and part of the pack. ​By tying training directly into daily care, Hatz Off Dog Training helps dogs genuinely cross those boundaries into confident, balanced lives—giving owners complete peace of mind every step of the way.
