The Railway Inn, New Ellerby

Welcome to The Railway Inn, we are a busy country pub who have been owned and run by our family for 20 years.

We pride ourselves on serving quality homemade food in a relaxed setting.

We are dog friendly and due to our location on the historical disused Hull to Hornsea Railway Track we see many keen cyclists and walkers using us for a well deserved rest stop whilst they are out enjoying the east Yorkshire countryside.

We are well known for our homemade meat pies, which are still made by hand using the same recipe through 3 generations.

We only advise making reservations for groups of 8 and above.

We have 3 lovely rooms above the pub, which are a perfect place to stay for guest attending weddings at the nearby venues.

The last train may have puffed past The Railway Inn way back in

1964, but the business is still going as strong as ever with three

generations and over 50 years of family experience at the helm.

Their high quality homecooked meals which range from their

world famous steak pies to haddock and chips and even various

vegetarian options which are all made with the upmost care,

attention and most importantly - locally sourced ingredients.

Combined with catering space for all occasions including wedding

receptions, birthday parties and functions in their beautiful

function room - The Railway Inn truly is the home of heart, soul

and family and with the new addition of Granddaughter Lilly

Edith, born on the 1st June 2016, the spirit of the family continues

to grow on.
