The Ship Inn is situated directly Opposite the Grade 1 listed St James Church on Church Street in the popular village of sutton close to Hull the ship inn is also situated close to the sutton & wawne museum ideal for anybody interested in the history of the village and surrounding area or in the history of WW2 The Ship Inn is also located close to the old Hull - Hornsea railway now a popular walking route. The Ship Inn itself is a Grade 2 former almshouse & coaching Inn dates back to c1780 certain aspects can still be seen today even though the current owners have extensively renovated the building since have kept as many features as possible.
