The Old School Tea Room is small, but lovely. Dogs are allowed in the main inside room (though space is tight), but not in the conservatory area. Outside there are shelters (they look a bit like sheds with a picnic table) which are good as long as the weather isn't horrific. Dogs are allowed in these too, and there are outdoor picnic tables for when it's nice out.
Food is good, especially the cakes and afternoon tea (which you need to book in advance), but can take a short while to arrive when they're busy (which it often is as it's popular and it's close to the Dales Way)
