Persie Distillery

For anyone interested in hitting the gin trail, Persie is a must-see. The first dedicated gin distillery to be awarded brown sign status by Visit Scotland, it has been publicly recognised as a star-rated destination on the Scottish tourist map.

The award-winning distillery is where Persie Gin is hand-crafted in small batches. There are three richly aromatic expressions – fruity, savoury and sweet – plus a range of ‘dog gins’ in aid of PADS dog rescue charity: Labrador Gin, Spaniel Gin and Dachshund Gin Liqueur. For every bottle sold, £1 is donated to PADS to help rescue and rehome unwanted dogs.

So come and meet the family, see a small craft distillery in action, enjoy a liquid tour, or buy your gin-loving friends a gift from our range of gin merchandise. Not forgetting drivers, non-drinkers and children! Take your pick from coffee, tea or soft drinks – with plenty of crisps, nuts or biscuits to keep you going. We are very dog friendly and welcome all dogs in the distillery tasting room.

It all happens on the site of the former Persie Hotel on the highest public road in the UK and the start of the SnowRoads adventure through Cairngorms National Park. Just a 40-minute drive from Pitlochry, Perth, Dundee, Braemar or Dunkeld, the distillery is seven miles north of Blairgowrie, at the foot of Glenshee.
