Yewtree House is ideal for friends and families to gather together to enjoy the delights of Cumbria, boasting a spacious and stylish interior with flexible sleeping arrangements for a variety of group needs. On the ground floor you will be greeted by an array of snug spots where you can spend quality time together, with the sitting room being a particular marvel; a double room with two large corner sofas, this room is ideal for two groups to come together in the evenings to unwind whilst watching a family-favourite film on the television. Each of the bedrooms are individually named after the larger tarns in Cumbria and the doors to these rooms have hand painted pictures of those tarns, specifically commissioned from a local artist. In addition, artworks on the walls in the bedrooms have photographs of the relevant tarns, again produced to order by the local artist specifically for use in the Yewtree House. Begin your days of adventure in the garden with a cup of tea in hand amongst the countryside breeze, before setting out to explore the lands of the Lake District up close. The immediate area of the cottage is peaceful and perfect for walks with your furry friends. The local pub, The Queens Head is just 500 yards away, which has just celebrated its 300th year as an Inn and still retains much of its old world charm whilst offering excellent modern dining options in the bar or restaurant. Alternatively, venture into the nearby village of Pooley Bridge where you'll find a host of amenities including local shops and numerous pubs serving a variety of food and beverages.
