Looe 2.1 miles. Perched on the edges of the Looe Valley, with a stunning outlook over the tree tops towards the coastline, is Woodview. The vistas are simply breath-taking from this elevated position, while the interior is bursting with character; a homely abode well-suited to a family, couple or a group of friends. There are beautiful beamed ceilings inside, accompanied by an inglenook fireplace, which houses a woodburning stove that you can cuddle up in front of on those cooler winter evenings. You can rustle up a home-cooked feast in the kitchen and get together around the dining table to discuss the adventures you've had so far. The ground floor is complete with a family bathroom, in which you can soak any aches and pains you might have in the bath tub on return from a walk, or enjoy a refreshing shower each morning. Catch your rest in one of two bedrooms upstairs, choosing form a double or the family room, which plays host to a single bed and children's bunks. Outside is a large, south-facing decked area to the front of the cottage, a lovely spot to relax and take in the views as you enjoy a barbecue on a lazy summer evening, washed down with a refreshing glass of wine or two. Why not stroll down to Sandplace train station and experience a ride on the Looe to Liskeard Branch Line, which frames beautiful views out of the carriage window? You will arrive at the thriving fishing village of Looe within minutes, where you can discover an array of shops and eateries, scattered amongst a maze of winding, cobbled streets. Pay a visit to its safe, sandy beach with the kids, where you can enjoy a spot of rock pooling, as well as crabbing on the quayside. Discover the waterside towns of Fowey and Mevagissey during your trip, both within easy reach offering a lovely day out, as well as The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Bodmin Moor. Woodview is a charming getaway in a delightful location.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x family room with children's bunks and a single bed. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Living/dining room with woodburning stove.
