Walcot Hall is based in the historic North Lincolnshire village of Alkborough. Steeped in history, the village is a treasure trove for heritage hunters, featuring an 11th century Norman church, as well as a historic Roman camp. Alkborough and the surrounding area has a wealth of tourist hotspots, whether you’re in search of a garden centre, cosy country pub or something inspiring a little more adventure. A short drive from a range of larger towns and cities including Scunthorpe, Hull, Brigg, Barton-Upon-Humber and Grimsby, there are plenty of activities nearby for children and families, as well as cultural and historic landmarks, nature reserves and miles of lush countryside.
