The cottage is accessed via the front garden, with steps up from the street. It offers flagstone floors and a lovely sitting room to the right with a TV and a traditional, character feature open fire place. The dining room is a wonderful space for gathering with your loved ones, enjoying views of the sea as you tuck into a delicious meal. This leads into the kitchen, where you have fitted units and a back porch for hanging your washing or drying off the dog. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor and upstairs you have two well-presented bedrooms, the twin room offering a pair of binoculars for tracking ships passing through from Portsmouth. Lastly, the stylish bathroom boasts antique furnishings, marble top and spotlights in the ceiling, highlighting a sleek finish. Outside you have an enclosed garden to the front with patio furniture, so you can sit and admire the glistening views of the sea and watch the world pleasantly go by. Bonchurch boasts an Italian run pub, the 'Bonchurch Inn', serving the most delicious lasagne on the island. Monks Bay is just east of the village, home to Bonchurch Pottery and there is a lovely walk from here that leads to the larger coastal town of Ventnor. You have some wonderful amenities close by; a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, as well as watersports and fabulous walking and cycling opportunities. There is plenty more around the island to explore, such as historic houses and castles, a variety of gardens and waterfalls, along with beaches, museums and heritage sites.
