Trereife Cottage, Marazion

A home away from home, Trereife Cottage is the perfect place from which you and your dog(s) can enjoy exceptional beaches, superb restaurants and wonderful coastal walking. A short stroll away is the heart of the vibrant seaside town of Marazion. The proximity to the town centre is ideal for families wanting a beach day or to explore the selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. Set in a fabulous coastal location, this beautiful property has everything necessary for a perfect holiday. 

Trereife is a perfect Cornish retreat for a group of up to six at any time of year, with so much to do and explore in this picturesque location. With a south facing outlook, Trereife has stunning views over St Michael's Mount and Mounts Bay from all the windows at the front of the cottage. The cottage has a high spec finish and is tastefully decorated in neutral colours and comfortably furnished. 

With 3 bedrooms (sleeping 6), 2 bathrooms and a shower room, the house has ample space for a variety of needs. There is a wood burner for cosy nights in, as well as gas central heating and an open plan sitting room/dining room is a calm and welcoming space in which to relax after a day on the beach or the water or exploring the local area. The dining table seats 6 and the well-equipped kitchen (with range cooker) has a large breakfast bar with four stools. 

The bathroom and three bedrooms are on the first floor. The two king size rooms at the front have wonderful sea views and the third is at the rear of the house and sleeps 2 in bunk beds. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite, whilst beds 2 and 3 share the family bathroom. The external utility/shower room is great for sandy bodies and towels after a day on the beach. 

The centre of Marazion is within easy walking distance down the hill where you can browse the art galleries, while away time in the cafes and enjoy the glorious stretches of golden sands, not to mention take a boat trip or walk across the tidal causeway to the Mount itself. If you don't want to cook, there is a wide selection of dining out options locally, from gourmet restaurants to fresh pasties or fish and chips.

Linen and bath towels are included (beach towels are not so please bring your own). The cottage is cleaned to an extremely high standard for your arrival. 2 well behaved dogs are welcome (although we ask you keep them off the furniture and don't allow them upstairs). We provide bowls, a mat and a jar of treats!

PARKING: The property has parking for one car in a garage. It is not suitable for large 4x4s or vehicles with roof boxes. The garage is in a separate building on the road at the back of the property (on School Lane) and the garden is accessed via a gate in the corner of the parking space to the right of the garage (which is for the adjacent property).

ACCESSIBILITY: The house and garden are on 2 levels with s set of steps up from the courtyard to the garden.
