The cottage, with its village location and spacious accommodation over three floors, is ideal for couples, groups of friends, and families looking for a relaxing break in a fascinating part of the country with easy transport links to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, as well as the main Border towns and attractions. Walk into this charming cottage and settle into its warm sitting room with its comfortable sofas and delightful wood burning stove. Recently refurbished from top to bottom, the house benefits from modern conveniences tastefully integrated into the bucolic countryside atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen is a spacious extension to the rear of the property, a bright, high-ceilinged space with several sky lights, which gives access to a beautiful, private back garden with dry stone walls, copious flower beds and an inviting patio area with ample seating and a BBQ. With further views of the great outdoors, both double bedrooms are furnished in a tasteful country style with large beds (one of them a super king which converts to twin beds) and plenty of storage space for clothes and bags to guarantee the general atmosphere of relaxed comfort.
