While you're in the area, take advantage of your coastal location and visit Mevagissey's fishing port, where you can get involved with fishing and sailing. Or venture towards Mevagissey Beach, a stone's throw away from the property and perfect for relaxing on the golden sands. For a spot of culture, Mevagissey Museum has a range of exhibitions on the village's rich history. For some scenic walking opportunities visit the 200 acres of The Lost Gardens of Heligan, which was only discovered in recent decades and comes with some hidden gems such as the sleeping goddess. Venture further afield towards The world-famous Eden Project is also within driving distance and has some of the most exotic plants in the world growing in two biomes, some of which are the only of their kind left in existence; this well-known attraction is a horticulturists haven. For some walking and cycling opportunities, the Roseland Heritage Coast is right on your doorstep where you can join the South West Coast Path for some walking and cycling routes. The Saltings is the perfect choice for a coastal retreat to the coast of Cornwall.
