A river with dramatic waterfalls runs through the estate a quarter of a mile away, offering the chance of a swim in the natural pool below the falls, and a one and a half mile stretch of fly fishing. Visit the owners’ stud of miniature Shetland ponies, including the delightful foals. All properties are cosily heated throughout, making them ideal for holidays at any time of the year.

Village shop and Post Office in Llan Ffestiniog and several supermarkets in Porthmadog. Five miles away lies the fascinating Portmeirion, with its warm-coloured, romantic, Italianate buildings and exotic plants. Porthmadog (8 miles) is the gateway to the Lleyn Peninsula, one of Wales’ five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and popular resorts. Within a short drive are the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland light railways.
