The Granary

One of five, converted stone farm buildings, The Granary is situated on a 350 acre working dairy farm on the southern edge of the Cotswolds.

Overlooking a pretty central courtyard next to the dairy, the barn can be combined with 4 other cottages, 988943 - Stable Cottage, 988996- Orchard Cottage, 988885 - Bottom Barn and 988925 - Cow Byre for larger group parties making this a perfect option for a large family gathering or a group of friends.Children will delight in the farm animals roaming just Outside the window such as cows, guinea fowl, turkeys (and the odd peacock), and can be shown round by the owners.

There are also plenty of long walks across the farmland, which includes a bluebell wood and a stretch of the River Avon where coarse fishing is available by arrangement.

A wealth of other activities are also at guest's disposal on the farm - swimming pool, hard tennis court, croquet lawn, sauna and games room - and once you've finished enjoying all of that, you have your own private, south facing terrace where you can unwind at the end of an exciting day.

Inside the cottage itself, you'll find it bright and spacious with plenty of room for up to five adult guests (six guests if children are in the party).

The decor is traditional in style, very much in keeping with the historic feeling of the barn, while at the same time providing all the comforts guests will need to really kick back and enjoy their holiday.

Two bedrooms( both accessed via 5 steps from living area): 1 x double with en suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower attachment, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with double sofa bed and open fire.

Electric heaters, open fire. Oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave. TV with freeview, DVD, WIFI. Fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Shared use of outdoor heated swimming pool, BBQ, tennis courts (please bring own racquets and balls), sauna, games room with table tennis and snooker room. Off road parking. One well behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Pool towels not provided - please bring your own.
