Sunnyside Cottage

Dogs: 2

Sleeps: 6

Beautiful barn conversion cottage located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park in the village of Grassington. Capable of sleeping up to six guests, the cottage is perfect for friends or families visiting the area, combining stunning scenery with the warmth of feeling at home. The spacious sitting area, located on the ground floor, is the perfect place to relax after a busy day, with comfortable seating, TV and a gas log fire. The kitchen/dining area has a country theme, and is a great place to enjoy meals. Also located on the ground floor is the utility room. The spiral staircase leads to the property’s three bedrooms, with guests having the choice of a king-size, double and twin. There’s also a stylish bathroom. Off-road parking is available for two cars, while pets are welcome though this must be arranged prior to the visit. The cottage’s garden is a great spot to get away from it all with a book, and you’ll be in good company, surrounded by beautiful views of the nearby meadow and beautiful flower beds. The garden table and chairs also make a great spot for the group to get together in the sunshine. Grassington’s village centre and its quaint, cobbled village square is just a three-minute walk away from the property and within here you’ll find plenty of shops and pubs. Outside of the village there are plenty of activities for holiday makers to get involved in. Walkers can take in many of the stunning routes that are available to them in the area, with the Grass Woods situated to the north of the property. Another recommended beauty spot is the River Wharfe. Nearby are the villages of Kettlewell and Buckden, both of which feature many fabulous limestone buildings. Elsewhere within the area, Bolton Abbey is just 10 miles away, and the Abbey’s ruins which date back to the 11th century - and are in particular a popular attraction among tourists. With so much to see and do within the Yorkshire Dales, you’ll definitely be needing somewhere to call home, and situated in a good area to visit new places, that’s why Sunnyside Cottage is the ideal location.
