A warm Highland welcome awaits you at Strath View. Enjoying lovely views across open countryside, Strath View is ideal for a couple or small family and makes the perfect base from which to explore this particularly beautiful and scenic part of the Northern Highlands. With the property being located in the scattered community of Kerrow and between Tomich and Cannich, you can shop or dine in either location: Tomich has a small seasonal café and restaurant, and Cannich has a restaurant and bar. For the outdoor enthusiast, everything you could wish for is on the doorstep, including excellent mountain biking trails, fishing and kayaking, pony trekking, walking, climbing and photography in some of Scotland’s most beautiful glens – Glen Affric, Glen Cannich and Glen Strathfarrar. A visit to nearby Plodda Falls is also highly recommended. Slightly further afield you can visit Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Divach Falls and the Highland capital of Inverness. Further to the east you can visit Culloden Battlefield and its visitor centre and Fort George, both of which offer good visitor experiences. Within a day you can also explore the west coast of Scotland and the Isle of Skye, or travel south to Fort William. Those just wanting to relax can sit back in the comfort of a chair whilst watching the ever-changing scenery through the patio doors. Horse riding, golf and fishing available nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
