Poet's Corner

This end-terrace, Grade II listed cottage is conveniently located in the centre of Holt, a popular, historic town that is perfect for exploring Norfolk's coastline. Poet’s Corner is one of the oldest properties in the town and has been beautifully renovated while retaining many of its wonderful period features. Downstairs, there is a cosy sitting room with a woodburning stove, a kitchen and a dining room, which opens onto a small patio that is perfect for alfresco dining in the summer. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, several of which have exposed beams and plenty of character. These include two double bedrooms, a single room and a fourth bedroom with full-size adult bunk beds. Holt is a Georgian market town with a good selection of independent shops, pubs, cafes and galleries along the main high street and tucked away down lanes and alleyways. Not only are there excellent things do to in the town itself, Holt is also a fantastic base from which to explore the famous North Norfolk Coastline and its many heritage houses, including Castle Acre Priory, one of England’s best-preserved monastic sites. There are many country parks which can easily be reached in the car and make wonderful days out for the whole family to enjoy. The Holt Country Park is a wooded area, reaching nearly 100 acres in size, containing Scots Pine, Oak and Silver Birch, whilst just over half an hour’s drive away are the wonderful Norfolk Broads where you can hire a boat or just spend the day walking, cycling and birdwatching. You can also hop aboard the North Norfolk Railway, known as the Poppy Line, and travel from Holt to Sheringham. This fantastic property is in a friendly, well-served town, making an ideal holiday destination for friends and families enjoying a break away.

Three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x bunk bed. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
