You can enjoy lovely horse riding trails along Glyndwr's Way from the doorstep of this Teme Valley cottage, or the nearby Kerry Ridgeway or Jack Mytton Way. An abundance of walks and cycle routes at Offa's Dyke provide fantastic views, and red kite and grouse can often be spotted. Beguildy is just three miles north of Pennant Cottage, boasting a shop, a Post Office and a pub serving good food. The rural village of Knucklas is just four miles away and boasts a traditional village pub, whilst a little further is the market town of Knighton, which offers a large range of amenities. Also just ten miles away is Penyclawyd Lake, which is 4.5 acres in size and is stocked with mirror carp.
