Owl Cottage is one of the recently converted 17th century stone barns at Champernhayes, an historic farm on the lovely Dorset and Devon border. It’s the ideal, comfortable base to explore one of the most beautiful and fascinating stretches of the English coastline. Owl Cottage is an open-plan property, situated facing a central courtyard at Champernhayes Farm. Inside, you will find a traditional style kitchen with dining area, as well as a sitting room complete with coal burning stove, ideal for creating a cosy atmosphere for a relaxing evening. On the same site we also offer Blackbird Cottage, Lark Cottage and Swallow Cottage.
The living area is dual aspect, creating a light and airy feel. The two bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom, so you have all the space you need to holiday in comfort. With its own enclosed garden, Owl Cottage is the ideal home to return to after a day exploring the footpaths and walks throughout the beautiful surrounding landscape. Located within close reach of Charmouth and Lyme Regis, this property is perfect for fossil hunters and those wishing to explore the coast and countryside.
During your stay at Owl Cottage, you are welcome to use the heated swimming pool (private slots bookable). There is also a selection of DVDs, books and board games in the games building to enjoy.
