Brush up on the local history by spending an afternoon discovering the town's 13th-century castle, or if you are feeling active venture to the Royal St. Davids golf course or a short drive to Coed y Brenin mountain bike trails at Zipp World. Within the surrounding area you will find the Italianate village of Portmeirion with its sub-tropical gardens, or a magnitude of walks upon the rolling hills of the Snowdonia National Park.
