Located only 100 yards from the water edge, sit and admire Daphne Du Maurier’s home ‘Ferryside’ and watch the traffic of ships, boats, kayaks pass you by. A five-minute flat and scenic walk along the river and you will reach the town with its vibrant high street of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Once parked up right outside the property, steps lead down to the courtyard and an archway of climbing jasmine surrounds the doorway into the townhouse – the perfect place to catch the morning sun and have a coffee. Once inside the hallway leads directly to the Master Bedroom with its opulent and oriental inspired décor – influenced by the China Clay connection of Fowey. The hand cast, polished Nickel bedstead with its sumptuous, natural fibre filled mattress and topper oozes comfort and glamour and is complimented by high quality Egyptian cotton linen and a cosy throw. Marble topped vintage bedside tables and adjustable wall lights make handy bedfellows for downtime reading, whilst the Roberts Radio and 32-inch Smart TV allows for catching up with your favourite radio show or ‘must-see’ series.

The antique mahogany secretaire provides elegant drawer storage, whilst the painted hanging hooks and the internal hallway cupboard gives hanging space. A striking mother of pearl console table with over-sized French painted mirror above is a handy spot for making up. The en-suite bathroom is a cool grey haven with a spacious shower enclosure & rainhead shower. A French door leads out onto the terrace and Locker Room full of games and outdoor equipment for guests to borrow during their stay.

The ground floor of No. 2 has a second twin bedroom and its vintage railway inspired décor; cast pewter bedsteads and organic wool mattresses will ensure a restful night’s sleep after a day’s exploring – topped with gorgeous welsh blankets for extra cosiness if the weather dictates. A bedside table with iconic Anglepoise lamp and Roberts radio, books and classic games will give the younger members of the family time out to relax at bedtime whilst the 32-inch Smart TV means they can still catch up with all their favourite programmes.

The master bathroom directly next door to the twin room on the ground floor is a chic and spacious. Relax and unwind in the bath after the day’s adventures – it’s a perfect place for pampering. If you need to be quick there is also a shower over the bath and beautiful Retreat to Fowey bathrobes to snuggle into.

Stairs lead up to the gorgeous double ceiling height, open plan lounge and kitchen diner. Light floods through the huge arched windows, a reminder of the architectural heritage of the building. This room is bursting with character with its original railway and maritime inspired décor & high-quality furniture giving the space an elegant finish. Sit back and unwind, sample a local Gin from our very own Gin Cupboard stocked with 3 types of artisan gin, a local Rum, Fevertree Tonics and all the paraphernalia of a well-stocked cocktail bar. The contemporary kitchen area with quartz stone worktop is well stocked with high spec equipment and utensils for all your culinary needs whilst on holiday. Admire the view of the pretty red bricked old railway cottages from the seasoned oak dining table & Lloyd Loom chairs. A 6ft glazed rack dresser houses all the glasses and crockery you need for dining in. Outside the property benefits from 2 private courtyards with seating and planters; it even has its own “Beach Hut” stocked with games and seaside equipment like buckets and spades, crabbing kits, body boards and snorkeling gear to borrow. Readymoney Beach with its rock pools and swimming pontoon is within walking distance and the quayside in town only 5 minutes away.

On arrival to No.2 Old Station Masters House the following will be included:

• A luxury 'goody' starter hamper including milk, bread, free range eggs, jam, scones & cream, fruit juice and ground coffee all sourced locally from Kittow’ s Deli, The Quay Bakery & The Dwelling House in Fowey

• A small supply of basic store cupboard items -tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, condiments, all elec-tric and gas. Washing up liquid, dishcloth, tea towels, foil and cling film.

• Beds are made up in Egyptian cotton sheets with high quality pillows and wool duvets, luxury bathroom towels, soap, hand cream and robes, small supply of cleaning and laundry materials, beach towel for every guest.

• Unlimited use of indoor pool and hot tub @ Fowey Hall Spa, 10% off spa treatments, use of Friends of Fowey Hall card that entitles you to 10% off beverages and food at the hotel.

This is a high quality apartment that is very dog friendly. Fiona thinks of every detail for your dog, providing a bed, bowls, drying towel, treats and an outside water hose. There are two patio areas and the rear one has a picket fence and a gate through to the communal lawn. Fantastic accommodation.

Perfect retreat for our little pooch. Great location with a nice outdoor space for Archie to run around - right near two great swimming spots as well if you're dog likes to take a dip. The accommodation also came with a lovely dog bed, bowls for his food and water, a comfy blanket, a towel and some tasty treats! We literally couldn't have asked for more. Top marks for this fabulous place.

A beautiful property with everything you could want. Jessica the Cyprus poodle loved her treats, towel, bowls, lying in the sun in the courtyard, running on Par beach and taking swims from the nearby slips down to the river. Most of Fowey's pubs, cafe's and shops are very dog friendly. The Hall Walk (directions in the property info folder is a must! Simply stunning views!
