This charming holiday property lies just 1¼ miles from the fabulous beach in Kilmuckeridge (Morriscastle), a long stretch of unbroken sandy beach that connects Cahore to Raven Point. It’s said to be one of the longest stretches of beach in Europe and is known as the ‘Golden Mile’. The area is popular with swimmers, walkers, horse riders and anglers. This family friendly house has a large enclosed garden and a beautifully landscaped sitting-out area for capturing the morning and evening sun. Kilmuckeridge makes an ideal base from which to explore the towns of Wexford, Gorey and Enniscorthy, as well as the historic villages of Blackwater, Curracloe, Boolavogue and Cahore. There’s a wildlife reserve near Curracloe, where a part of ‘Saving Private Ryan’ was filmed on Ballinesker Beach. Shops, pubs and restaurants 200 yards.. Approximate distance to Dublin Airport is 135 km.
