Marnoc Cottage

Marnoc is a detached cottage situated immediately adjacent to the impressive 14th Century Keep. It is close to an extensive lawned area and woodland boasting many mature trees with a walkway throughout. The cottage sleeps four guests in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. All accommodation is located on the ground floor. The cottage boasts modern and comfortable accommodation and benefits from hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV and DVD player. A log burner is located in the living room. A high chair and travel cot are available on request. Dogs are welcome in Marnoc. Enter the hallway that leads to each of the rooms. There is a modern and well-equipped kitchen / dining room, perfect for enjoying a meal after a day of adventure. There are two comfortable bedrooms, one twin and one double, and a cosy lounge complete with a ‘Hobbit’ log burner. Enjoy playing one of the games or DVDs provided, or snuggle up on the sofa with one of the books from the bookshelf. Marnoc overlooks an extensive lawned area and neighbouring fields. Outside has a shared courtyard area and extensive lawns, complete with picnic tables and putting green. Off-road parking is available next to the cottage. The cottage is located in 20 acres of grounds, including an 18th Century walled garden. In addition to the putting green, a number of facilities are available for guest use including a BBQ, all-weather tennis court and football goals. In the nearby village is an array of pubs, bars and tea rooms serving delicious food, as well as a golf course and beautiful sheltered beach. The next seaside town along is Rothesay, with many shops, cafés and restaurants, along with walking opportunities and open top bus tours.
