Situated in the popular town of Marazion in Cornwall, Lynsdale provides a pretty base from which families or couples can explore the beautiful Cornish Coast. The property boasts a range of period features, outdoor space and sea views. Step into Lynsdale and you will find a pleasing sitting room on your right; this space is warmed by an electric woodburner effect fire and also offers a window seat, with a large window looking out towards the town and sea. Moving on from the sitting room, the hallway opens up into an open-plan kitchen/diner; this farmhouse kitchen has all the amenities needed to cook a fantastic home-made meal and has the added luxury of a large Rayburn range cooker. The kitchen leads out into an enclosed courtyard with patio furniture, a rarity in town such as Marazion. Upstairs there is a family bathroom and two bedrooms, both of which benefit from large sash windows and charming original fireplaces. The smaller of the two has a single bed with a stacker bed underneath it if needed. The larger is a double room that also features views of both the sea and the island fortress of St Michael's Mount. Marazion is a quaint town fronted by a fantastic sandy beach known as Mount Bay. The town has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries, as well as heritage sites such as the castle and gardens situated on the previously mentioned St Michael's Mount. It is possible to access this tidal island on foot at low-tide or by boat when the tide is in. Marazion is also a short drive from the historic town of Penzance, famous for its pirates and palm trees. Also take a visit to St Ives with its many shops, restaurants and art galleries to enjoy. Lynsdale is a lovely cottage that boasts a fantastic location and views, perfect for a family or couple wanting to take a break in this traditional Cornish town.
