Little Ivy

This cosy semi-detached cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Aviemore and provides a neat and welcoming holiday home. This cottage is ideal for a couple, a family group or a group of friends who want to enjoy this popular area together. Ivy Cottage has a very well-equipped newly furnished kitchen that leads though to the spacious sitting/dining room where meals can be enjoyed together around the table and also leads to the rear garden via the external door. There are two freshly decorated bedrooms, one at the front of the house and the other overlooking the rear garden. For visitors with bikes, golf clubs or even canoes then there is a garage storage area situated at the side of the cottage. From this location the whole of the National Park is easily accessible and the array of activities is quite mind boggling! Of course the ski areas are close by but even if you are not a skier taking a trip on the funicular railway journey up the CairnGorm Mountain is a unique experience and allows people of all ages and abilities to reach the Top Station where you not only get breathtaking panoramic views but can also enjoy a meal in the restaurant. For wildlife lovers then a visit to the RSPB at Loch Garten is a must, as it is home to the ospreys in Scotland and the surrounding ancient pinewoods and beautiful lochs are quite stunning. For the active and less active this area is simply magnificent. Aviemore is a perfect holiday destination offering a diverse array of activities for both young and old and this is a great wee cottage for a great Scottish holiday!
