The village of Parkend is a quiet village in The Forest of Dean with its own cricket green where games can be seen during the week and weekends during the cricket season. The village boasts two pubs both serving food, a Post Office/convenience store, and the Whitemead Park holiday centre. The village has a bicycle hire shop with cafe. The converted stone barn has an open plan living area downstairs, measuring approximately 6 by 4 metres with log burner fire. Electric convector heaters and oil fired radiators are available. A rear extension houses the kitchen and downstairs combined shower room and toilet. Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and fridge. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a 5 ft double bed, the other with two 3 ft. singles. Small garden solely for use by the occupants, with seating and BBQ facilities.
