The open plan living area on the first floor offers stunning views and benefits from a sunny balcony where you can do a spot of birdwatching or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. On cooler evenings, there is a cosy open fire to snuggle beside after a busy day exploring this enchanting area. There is plenty of space for guests to spread out in this light and bright holiday cottage near Coniston, with a second kitchen and a cosy snug room on the ground floor, along with a double bedroom boasting en-suite facilities. With no internal steps on the ground floor and easy access from the outside, this cottage in Coniston may be suitable for accompanied disabled guests. Outside is a private patio area, fully-equipped with a gas barbecue and furniture. Guests are welcome to roam the six acres of shared grounds, and will find access to the Lake Bank jetty close by. From here, guests can use the owners' Canadian canoe and four kayaks (at your own risk) for a splendid afternoon spent cruising along the lake. This Lake District cottage has superb walking and mountain biking available from the doorstep, whilst the bustling village of Coniston is less than 15 minutes' drive away. With so much to do in the fantastic area, this Coniston cottage provides a perfect base for your Lake District adventure.
