On return from an adventurous day exploring the national parks, beautiful rivers and delightful landmarks, find yourselves a bed to rest your head a while and when you've recovered join the rest of the guests in the sociable living space. Step out through the French doors and onto the veranda which offers a choice of views with majestic mountainside to the right and shaded forestry to the left. You will be overwhelmed by how beautiful and peaceful the area is as you enjoy a hot cup of coffee; the morning dew glistening in the grass and the gentle breeze whispering across the decking. Newtonmore has joyous shops and pubs to offer as well as two excellent, award-winning museums; the Highland Folk Museum and Clan MacPherson Museum. The Wildcat trail is popular among tourists, a 7-mile circular walk around the edge of the village boasting the River Spey, beautiful woodland, moorland and delightful views across the valley to Cairngorms. The kids will love the Folk Park, the Wildlife Park at Kincraig, Landmark at Carrbridge and the Steam Railway whilst the adults might prefer some golf, fishing, bird watching or even mountain biking. There is an abundance on offer at this lovely cottage you can call home.
