Walking trails can be found very close by making it a really great spot for plenty of walks with your dogs. Being in the centre of Exmoor National Park you will find there are plenty of outdoor activities to participate in within the area including walking, fishing and horse-riding, to name but a few.
Further afield there are plenty of tourist and historic spots too from Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor’s highest point, Tarr Steps, the Medieval village of Dunster which is full of charm and its imposing castle (National Trust) which towers over the village centre. The seaside villages of Porlock and Porlock Weir are certainly worth a visit too, as are the Victorian towns of Lynton and Lynmouth with the famous cliff railway. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor and you will find plenty of shops and restaurants and the West Somerset Steam Railway in the town of Minehead. Beach 14 miles.
