Outdoorswimming pool (shared, 12 x 6m, depth 0.85m to 1.5m, open 10am-6pm May half term-September). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond 400 yards away.. Shared outdoor swimming pool. Heather and Lavender are a pair of detached, lodge-style cottages set on the edge of a quiet holiday park in the North Devon countryside. Each lodge benefits from its own covered veranda from where you can unwind and enjoy the countryside setting. The park has a good range of facilities that guests can use during their stay including a solar heated, outdoor swimming pool (May to September), a well-equipped children’s play area, a games room, shop and on site bar (summer only). The park also benefits from having direct access to the Tarka Trail, part of the National Cycle Network. The cottages are located a short distance from the Civil War town of Great Torrington which has a good range of shops and amenities as well as the 1644 visitor centre and the Dartington Crystal factory. On the outskirts of the town is RHS Rosemoor, a must for keen gardeners. There are stunning beaches at Woolacombe and Sandymouth. Enjoy a day out at Hartland or visit the lighthouse, Hartland Quay and the historic fishing village of Clovelly. Bideford lies close by with its quay where you can book a trip to Lundy Island or slightly further afield are Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. A day out at The Milky Way and The Big Sheep will keep the younger ones entertained. Shop and pub on site, restaurant 2 miles.
