Hazeldene is a huge Edwardian house set on the cusp of the Wear valley with space all around and views across the fields or around the village. It’s in a quiet village , Copley and set high above the clouds five miles from the market town of Barnard Castle on the North Yorkshire, County Durham border, with all the cobbled streets, the castle, river, shops to explore, restaurants or fast food , not forgetting excellent pubs and boundless walks for you all and your pet to explore and enjoy. Which means you’re close enough to the tourist trail if needed and all the fast food requirements of teenagers but far enough away for you all to relax in peace and quiet. There’s a pub a mile down the road, but we suggest you drive to be honest although there’s a path across the fields unless you’re very fit the uphill walk after a drink etc may stretch the legs, though we’re sure your pet will love the walks back across the fields, you may not? The house has enclosed front and rear gardens meaning they’re safe for young members of your family to run around in while you relax in a huge dining room with the French doors thrown open and fresh air setting the style for either a relaxed meal or a full dinner served on an oak table that easily seats six people with space to relax and an electric style log burner to set the mood for you. Before retiring to settle in comfy sofas in the huge lounge and a multi fuel log burner to keep you warm by its glow. And with pooh walks for your pet basically off the drive turn right go the rough the wishing gate and across open fields what could be better? Easy. There’s Gaunless woods a mere fifty yards back down the hill with acres of woods, trails for you to walk, moors to stretch your legs over and the river Gaunless to splash about in. Perfect for young children, exploring teenagers with bike trails on Hamsterley wood a mere four miles away and country walks abound for you your pet to stretch its legs, then come back to Hazeldene and crash out in front of a multi fuel log burner with Sky tv and DVDs, full WiFi for every need possible, ( including Sky sports for you football fans!).
