The coastline is very picturesque with high cliffs and rocky shores. Follow the cliff top path for over 30 miles and explore many coastal resorts and villages along the way. A little further afield is the famous seaside town of Scarborough, or spend the day in the medieval walled city of York, with its cobbled streets, National Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre.
