A charming semi-detached, 14th century barn conversion, ideally located in the thriving village of Lea on the northern edge of the Royal Forest of Dean. The open plan living area has a very well-equipped kitchen, with a dining area to seat all guests, perfect for a celebratory dinner or lazy Sunday lunch. Afterwards, guests can relax in the seating area enjoying a family film or just chatting together. The ground floor bedroom can be made into a twin or king-size room, while three further first floor bedrooms provide very comfortable accommodation, with two doubles and a single, and there is a corner bath in the bathroom. Outside, the front lawned garden has seating for seven, perfect for relaxing after a day enjoying the many outdoor activities on offer in the area. The village of Lea boasts an exemplary shop, Post Office and petrol station, and the local 15th century inn offers real ales and home cooked food. The Gloucestershire Way and Wysis Way both pass close by, and this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers activities to suit all tastes, including cycling, horseback riding, golf, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. The riverside town of Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester with its Victorian Docklands, the spa town of Cheltenham and the cathedral city of Hereford are all close by, making this a perfect holiday destination to be enjoyed at any time of year.
