Gorffwysfa is a heart-warming Old Welsh whitewashed stone cottage dating back to the 12th century enjoying an idyllic elevated location situated in farmland in the village of Garnfadryn, 6 miles from Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula. This North Wales getaway is a must-stay for those seeking a fun-packed family holiday. Be instantly charmed upon arrival as you enter into a country-cottage-style kitchen/diner; slate flooring and cream-coloured units help give this well-equipped layout a charming, rustic effect. Next you will discover the sparkling family bathroom; a navy blue wall helps to in-keep with this tremendous coastal location. Gather the family in the cosy sitting room where you can put your feet up in front of the roaring woodburner and watch a favourite film. For some more peaceful relaxation, a snug room rests adjacent with its own TV and French doors displaying stunning far-reaching views to top it all off. A charming family shower room completes the ground floor accommodation, again dotted with splendid nautical features. The three bedrooms at Gorffwysfa are well-presented and comfortable, two bunk rooms are ideal for the children to stay in whilst a beautiful double bedroom is enhanced by picture-perfect views. Revel in this unique rural location by taking a seat in the back garden, choose from a delightful patio BBQ area and a peaceful decking to admire the scenery from whilst the young ones and four-legged friends make the most of the spacious lawns. Abersoch and Pwllheli are both on the southern side and are two of North Wales' most popular seaside resorts, being just a short drive away, a perfect day trip for families as well as visits to Llanbedrog, Nefyn and Aberdaron. Behind Gorffwysfa lies Carn Fadryn, or know locally as The Garn, the highest peak of the Lleyn Peninsula which dominates the landscape. For keen walkers you can reach the peak in 90 minutes and at the top you can enjoy the view for miles across the Llyn Peninsula and Cardigan Bay to the South and Anglesey and even Ireland on a clear day to the North. A characterful cottage in a most beautiful rural location.
