Frying Pan Cottage

Sleeps: 2

This stone terrace cottage lies within the historic village of Cononley, just a stroll from the local pub and with countryside walks across verdant hills. This charming bolt hole offers couples a chance to escape their busy routine and enjoy some quality time together in a beautiful region of Yorkshire. Climb the stone staircase (13 steps) from the front and step through the entrance, where you are greeted with a decorative tiled floor leading through to the sitting room. On return from an invigorating walk across the dales or a delightful barge trip along the Leeds and Liverpool canal, wrap yourselves around the warmth of the fire and take in the charming surroundings. With quirky household accessories, modern fixtures and an engineered wooden floor sweeping across the space, you can fully relax and feel at home in this cosy dwelling. Continuing through to the kitchen, you can rustle up a tasty meal for your partner and get together at the dining table set for two, with views out across the pretty garden to the rear. Upstairs is where you can find the stylish king-size double bedroom, which boasts plenty of wardrobe space, a dressing area and wall-mounted TV. Wake up to a morning cup of tea made by your other half and absorb the cheerful views from the window before heading to the bathroom adjoining. Enjoy a lovely hot soak in the tub with more of the same landscape views or take a refreshing shower after exploring some of the many walking and cycling trails in the area. Summer evenings will have you out on the patio to the rear with a chilled drink or a good book to delve into. You can stroll to the pub in the village or head further to Cross Hills nearby for shops and other handy amenities.
