We stayed at Droop Farm Cottage – Dorset this month for a week and everything about the stay was so lovely. David and Tracey own a beautiful farmhouse in the Dorset countryside accompanied by their spacious cottage and large dog friendly garden. The views over the Dorset hills backing onto their gardens were simply breath-taking. We all enjoyed local attractions and pubs safely despite Covid-19 precautions being in place.

Ted my Cockapoo was tired every evening from being non stop excited every day and gained a playmate in Alfie the Westie who lives at the Farm House. We had beautiful warm weather throughout and couldn’t have asked for any better.

David and Tracey couldn’t have been more helpful and were very kind and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay.

I would recommend Droop Farm to anybody who is looking for a peaceful countryside break.

We have stayed here for the past 3 consecutive years and we can’t wait to go back. The cottage itself is beautiful, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The owners David and Tracey, are lovely, very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. Tracey also makes her own jams, marmalade’s and chutneys which are simply delicious. Their pretty, well cared for private garden is perfect for our Welsh Springer Spaniel to mooch about in . The owners dog (a delightful little Westie called Alfie) is a real character and often pops round to say hello to us and Megan! There is not only a substantial welcome pack for us but also some mini Bonio’s and even a ball for the dog! We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. A hidden gem.
