It offers beautifully presented accommodation and makes a super base for exploring this lovely part of the northern Highlands. The vibrant harbour and marina are a short walk away, along with the beautiful award-winning beach, where you can perhaps catch sight of the famous Bottlenose dolphins of the Moray Firth, and enjoy a stroll whilst watching the playful seabirds foraging on the shoreline. Visit some of the lovely fishing villages dotted along the Moray Firth coastline, or take the Moray Malt Whisky Trail, the only one in the world. Inverness, the Highland capital, Culloden Battlefield, the historic Fort George, Cawdor Castle and Loch Ness are all within easy reach. Amongst the many activities available in the area are a large range of water sports, as well as fishing, sea trips, mountain biking and golf, with Nairn boasting a championship course just a short walk from the cottage.
