This beautiful terraced cottage is situated on the Caldon Canal, close to the steam railway line on the outskirts of the Staffordshire village of Cheddleton. Set over three floors you will find views of the pretty garden leading to the canal running by and inside, this cottage in Cheddleton has a sitting room with a warming woodburning stove, a galley kitchen and three bedrooms, including a two double rooms on the first floor with one containing 2 single beds which can be made into a double on request. Also a loft room which is accessed via one of the bedrooms which contains one single bed. Your Cheddleton cottage has a front lawned garden, complete with a summerhouse and chiminea to enjoy those chillier evenings whilst watching the wildlife on the canal and planning where to visit next. From the delightful village of Cheddleton are the Churnet Valley Railway, walks and cycle trails taking you through the moorlands and within easy driving distance the market town of Leek. With its antiques emporia, bookshops and galleries, as well as a number of shops, restaurants and real ale pubs, it is a lovely town to explore. Also in the area, the wonderful Roaches are great for walking, climbing and mountain biking, and Tittesworth Reservoir and Alton Towers are also both worth a visit. This excellent Cheddleton cottage is the perfect base to enjoy this beautiful part of the Staffordshire Peak District.
