It also has a new maritime centre, sandy beach, a good ice cream parlour and a long promenade to stroll along. Amble, only 9 miles, is reputedly the friendliest port and lies further up the coast. An easy drive takes you onto the Heritage coastal route, peppered with castles and friendly villages. Alnwick is easily reached, where there is a fine selection of pubs, eateries and cobbled streets, along with the famous castle. Visitors of all ages can enjoy this delightful well equipped holiday home, where special times and celebrations will be remembered. Beach 0.9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
