Cosy Nook

Cosy Nook is a 500 year old grade two listed thatched cottage with many unique features. Boasting an inglenook fireplace and original beams. Situated in the village of North Molton on the river Mole and is ideal for walkies either along the river or over the moors on Exmoor. There is a lounge with sofa, table and chairs with tv and WiFi. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need with microwave, washing machine etc. Double doors to a pretty garden with a raised seating area and secure for your dogs. Upstairs is a bedroom with a king sized bed, single bedroom and a shower room. Provided for your furry friends are blankets, bowls, treats and towels. There is a welcome basket for Mums and Dads. The village has a pub called the Podimore Inn which is dog friendly and serves excellent food. It’s only a two minute walk from the cottage.There is a small shop in the pub for your essentials. South Molton is only 3 miles away with various shops, tea rooms and a Sainsbury. Superstores are found in Minehead or Barnstable which are about a half an hours drive. Doggy beaches are found at Dunster and Instow which are slightly further away. Exmoor has hundreds of walking trails, rivers and dog friendly tea rooms such as Periwinkle Cottage in the beautiful Holnicote Estate and Withypool ( the next village over the hill). There are quaint villages and fabulous scenery with the spectacular coastal route from Minehead to Coombe Martin. The surrounding country side around South Molton is pretty Devon scenery with lots of footpaths for your walks with pooches. There are markets twice a week in South Molton and also in Barnstable. This is a very dog friendly area. Dogs are welcome in most places and will enjoy their holiday just as much as you will
