Clawford Lakes is a holiday escape in Devon with unique self-catering accommodation, multiple fishing lakes, a Lake Spa with indoor pool and treatment rooms, free of charge water sports and bike hire and a fantastic bar and restaurant, The Apple & Grape. During school holidays, children and families can take part in free of charge Park Ranger sessions.

Self-catering accommodation includes Luxury Lodges, Apartments, Lake Pods, Floating Lodges and Luxury Cocoons which are unique to Clawford Lakes – you won’t find them anywhere else in the UK! Many of the accommodation has a private hot tub, and the Cocoons have a private fire pit too. The resort features 17 lakes, many for fishing and a Leisure Lake where you can try your hand at kayaking, paddleboarding and open water swimming. Water sports sessions are free of charge, as is bike hire. If you fancy a spot of fishing, the team in the on site tackle shop are very knowledgeable and able to lend equipment and offer advise to ensure you have best chance of catching a bite! If you’re looking for a more relaxing break then spend your days in the Lake Spa which includes a heated indoor pool, steam room, comfy lounge and treatment rooms with a range of treatments on offer from a team of friendly therapists. There’s family fun too with free Park Ranger activities in the school holidays. Enjoy drinks and meals at The Apple & Grape restaurant and bar. There’s free Wi-fi, EV charging points and you won’t be charged extra to bring your dog on holiday with you either.

The MOST dog friendly holiday park we’ve been to. No limit on the number of dogs so we were able to take all 3 of ours in one accommodation. Site is BEAUTIFUL. Dogs allowed in the restaurant and even given luxury beds to sleep on whilst we ate. Dogs could sit in the spa reception to wait whilst I had a spa treatment and watch whilst I took on kayaking around the activity lake. Off lead walking areas available as well as a doggy lake for them to swim in.

Dogs are super welcome - no additional charges for dogs, no limit on the number of dogs allowed, they get their own goodie bag, they are allowed to join you in the bar and restaurant.
Acres of space for off lead walks and dog bins for waste.
Comfortable dog beds are available for hire at a very reasonable £10 for your stay, so much easier than taking our own dog beds for my two.
The staff are wonderful, and the human activities are free too (paddle boarding, kayaking, cycles, Spa pool and steam room).

We stayed with our 2 year old cockerpoo and the team at Clawford Lakes were just brilliant. She was welcome in all public areas of the complex even in the spa! Plenty of treats from staff too.
