Experience - The Area...

Within an easy walk of the coastal footpath and the dramatic cliffs in this area, this double glazed, detached late 17th Century family house is set in a hedged and gated country garden of grass and fruit trees on the edge of this peaceful hamlet with views of the surrounding countryside towards the sea from upstairs. Well known visitor hotspots such as Tintagel and Boscastle are 5 miles and 8 miles respectively from Treligga.

The nearest shop and pub are at Delabole, about 2 miles away by road, but can also be reached by footpath across the fields.  The attractive fishing village at Port Isaac and the sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary are within a 15 minute drive, and for a wider selection of amenities, the towns of Camelford and Wadebridge are about 20 minutes by car.  Trebarwith Strand beach, 1.5 miles away on foot, and the dramatic North Coast cliff path and Tregardockbeach can be reached via a walk across the fields.

Stay - The Accommodation...

The garden gate opens from the parking area to a short path, an entrance porch and the front door, which leads into a small hallway. There are two comfortable sitting rooms both looking out over the front garden, each opening from the front hall and have a second door to steps which lead down to the older part of the house. A large, well equipped kitchen / dining room has modern fitted units and includes an electric four oven Aga with an electric two ring hob for cooking and background heat.

A double glazed door leads from the dining area to a sheltered slate-paved patio and there are a utility room with laundry facilities and a cloakroom W.C. with hand basin. A back door leads out beneath a lean to porch to a small garden at the side of the property.

Wide but rather steep stairs lead up from the hallway to a landing, which divides at the top. On one side is a spacious master king size double where there is a view of the sea in the distance and an en suite bathroom W.C. with wash basin and bath with hand shower attachment. On the opposite side are a 3ft bunk bedroom and a twin bedded room, both overlooking the front garden.

One step leads down from the landing to the rear of the house where there are a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and separate shower cubicle and a further king size double bedroom with sea views on the horizon.
