Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a renovated stable block that has been converted into 2 self catering holiday cottages. The cottages are next to the Cwm Clydach RSPB bird reserve. Situated in a secluded valley the cottages are on a farm but they are still very close to local amenities and within easy access to the M4, Swansea, the Gower and the Brecon Beacons. There is a spacious outdoor area that leads to a private valley walk. It is an ideal location for walkers and dogs are very welcome.

The outdoor area is private with outdoor furniture and leads into a wooded valley walk with waterfalls that is private to the guests. The cottages are perfectly located for nature lovers, walkers who want a quiet get away but also for guests who wish to explore the South Wales area. There is a cycle path that leads to the Swansea Cycle Trail in Clydach a couple of hundred yards from the cottages and there is secure dedicated bike storage. I provide complimentary necessities such as toilet roll washing up liquid and hand wash. There is an additional utility building adjacent to the cottages for storage, laundry facilities and has an outdoor tap for washing down bikes and dogs.
