Visitors travel from all over the country to visit Moors Valley Country Park, a managed forest with a host of outdoors activities for adults and children. You can play golf at the numerous local courses, including an 18-hole and pitch and putt course within walking distance. Dine out in a choice of local restaurants, or enjoy a picnic or ice creams with the children at a local beauty spot!
The Castleman Trailway can be accessed just 100 yards away. It provides easy walking, a pleasant cycle to Ringwood and if you’re adventurous, in the other direction towards Poole and beyond to Sandbank beaches! By car you can be at the beach in 15 minutes. Head to Boscombe Beach, a regular winner of various seaside awards due to its excellent facilities and cleanliness. Here you can enjoy the sandy beach, the pier, cafés and restaurants, beach volleyball and table tennis or even learn to surf! Boscombe Chine Gardens are just a short stroll from the beach with a wonderful crazy golf course. And finally the land train runs from Boscombe to Bournemouth. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade one way and catch the train back.
