Set in the heart of the historic old city quarter of Stirling, Castle Hill Apartment is ideal for a city break or a romantic getaway.. From your front door there is so much to explore on foot - the quaint cobbled streets lead to the magnificent Stirling Castle where you can easily spend a day just wandering around the castle, palace and military museum from where there is a great view over the city to the Wallace Monument, Ochil Hill and surrounding countryside. Argyll’s Lodgings, Church of the Holy Rude, Old Town Jail, Smith Art Gallery and Museum are all within a short walk, as is the city centre where you will find an abundance of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. The Tolbooth and Albert Halls host a wide range of live performances and events including family ceilidhs. Stirling University campus is just over 2 miles away, and for guests wanting to visit friends or family studying there or attending a graduation ceremony, you are ideally located. Travel to all areas easily accessible either by car or train with the railway station only 10 minutes’ walk away and there are regular services to Edinburgh and Glasgow. You can be in the centre of these vibrant cities in under an hour. A little further afield, but within easy driving distance, you will be able to enjoy days out in the magnificent Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and sample the water of life at one of the many whisky distilleries in the area.
